1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Compendro ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Compendro is a content-saving and read-later service that allows you to save URLs, articles, and other web content to a personal queue for later reading. The Service is operated by Emeldron, based in Spain.

The mobile app is a companion to the web application at app.compendro.com. Account creation and subscription management are handled exclusively through the web application.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account at compendro.com to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Save or distribute content that violates applicable law or third-party rights
• Automate mass-saving of content in a way that circumvents rate limits or harms the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service in any way that disrupts its availability for other users

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you save through the Service. Compendro does not claim any rights to your saved content. We store your saved URLs and extracted metadata solely to provide the Service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you save does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.

6. Subscription and Billing

Paid subscriptions are managed through the web application at compendro.com/account and processed via Stripe. The mobile app does not offer in-app purchases. Subscription terms, pricing, and cancellation are governed by the information displayed during checkout on the web.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Emeldron shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email.
